Well after a bit of time, I am getting back into this project...
I found a local supplier of the product we all know and that is POR-15, so I decided to order their starter kit, which includes the metal clean, metal prep, and the gloss black paint, which is going to go on the frame and the rest of the bits...
I had good luck with the appliance enamel paint on the GS, but wanted to try something different, I was going to powder coat, but it's too expensive, so the POR-15 is a happy medium...
Well let's hope so...
I will pickup some rattle can paint for the engine at my local Canadian Tire, the same stuff I used on the GS engine, it's held up really well, and it actually came out really good, no sense in using something new on that part.
Hope to have everything in place by the weekend, and get in some painting, pics of the actual painting to follow,,,,for now, it's a few pics of the POR-15....
