So I let the carb bodies soak for a few hours, and to my dismay, once
I took them out of the solution, they went and turned darker on
me...YUK....
I don't think it will have any affect on the function of the carb, they just look dark now, like they are old or something, I heard this can happen with vinegar, but didn't think MrClean would have this effect, next time I am going back to my PineSol dip.....
At least they are clean, all the crud is gone, and yes there could be crap in the jets and such, but it's a chance I will have to take at this time....
Tomorrow I will put them back together, if I get the SS screws and get the tops painted...
